The Montrone Legacy Gardens is a private oasis set on 2.5 acres in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah. This one-of-a-kind multi-million dollar landscape project, designed to serve as a backyard entertaining space, is a true work of art in nature and the collaborative product of three Utah companies: Pendleton Design Management, NightVision Landscape Lighting, and Hammerton.
The garden features waterfalls, fish ponds and some of the rarest plant and tree specimens in North America. Mature trees were transplanted to the garden when fully grown, including one that was over 50 years old.
Hammerton outdoor lighting complements this magical garden with fixtures placed naturally among the landscape and hanging organically from trees. Metal stems and leaves extend from fixtures and weave along garden branches. Hammerton was able to incorporate lighting into the garden without compromising on design. The intricate metal work hiding electrical cables was key in making this unique project a success.
